“Funding Higher Education in China: A Brief Introduction to the China Scholarship Council” Presenter: Jenny Ge, Visiting Scholar, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China

The OSU School of Global Studies and Partnerships will be hosting Dr. Charles Kimball as part of its Iranian and Persian Gulf Studies speaker series. The recent, intense confrontation between the U.S. and Iran was a stark reminder of the potential for even more widespread and convoluted conflict in an increasingly interconnected world. While there are no easy answers or simple solutions, there are ways that people of faith and goodwill can contribute toward a more hopeful and healthy future in our communities, nation and world. Dr. Charles Kimball, Presidential Professor and chair of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Oklahoma, will explore options for constructive ways to move forward with hope for the perilous journey ahead.
