Jamie Cummings currently serves as the International Trade Coordinator for the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture. Specializing in assisting Oklahoma businesses with information and technical advice when conducting foreign trade. Assisting companies with overcoming trade barriers such as cultural and language differences, government trade restrictions and financial limitations. She works closely with members of the Foreign Agricultural Service and federally funded market access programs that assist with overseas marketing and promotional activities that build commercial export opportunities for U.S. agricultural products.

Before taking on the role in International marketing Jamie served as the program coordinator for the Oklahoma Agritourism Program. This program helps farmers and ranchers develop Agritourism on their land, as well as run a marketing and promotion campaign to draw visitors to these locations. The program includes printed brochures, website, full social media campaign, and travel shows events.

Before coming to the Department of Agriculture, Jamie comes from a retail merchandising and marketing background. Jamie served as the Director of Merchandising for Dobson Communication/Cellular One and later with AT&T creating retail signage, displays and store planograms for the mobile phones and electronics. Both on the client side and Ad Agency Jamie moved into marketing and promotions, purchasing advertising, OOH, radio and coordinating local events. She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from University of Central Oklahoma and a member of Class XVI of the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Program. She lives in Purcell, Ok with husband and two sons.
