Jason Baffrey – Vice Chair

Automotive Project Manager – Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODOC)

Jason Baffrey serves as the Automotive Project Manager at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODOC).

Baffrey has 25+ years of diverse experience in creative media including marketing, public relations, video production and graphic design for business, non-profit organizations, and television.

Prior to taking the position with ODOC, Baffrey worked for the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST), managed his own creative media firm working with businesses and non-profit organizations, providing graphic design, video production, writing, and photography services. His career started in motorsports. He is also known for being an on-camera host and producer for NHRA Today a weekly news-magazine style program airing on The Nashville Network (TNN) covering NHRA Drag Racing. He has also appeared on ESPN2 and Fox Sports Net covering drag racing and motorcycle racing. He is an experienced live event announcer for multiple motorsports. Additionally, he served as General Manager for the Texas Motorplex, the country’s first “super-track” for drag racing.

In addition to serving Oklahoma Governor’s International Team, Baffrey is also on the Executive Board for the Del City Chamber of Commerce. Baffrey earned his B.A. in Oral Communications – Broadcasting from the University of Central Oklahoma.
