Emelie Schultz

Emelie Schultz is a Swedish international student at the University of Oklahoma (OU) studying a dual degree in Business Management and Psychology. Prior to OU, Emelie represented her country at the high school United World College Red Cross Nordic in Flekke, Norway, where she for two years shared her daily life with 200 students from 95 nations. With a continuously increasing admiration for the importance of multiculturalism and diversity, she has currently been prioritizing her contributions to her community through several leadership positions across the OU campus. Some of Emelie’s previous positions include being the Director of Inclusivity and the International Student Liaison of the Student Government Association, as well as the Co-President of The United World, allowing her to advocate for students and address issues regarding multiculturalism and diversity on campus. Emelie is currently serving as the Vice President of the Student Government Association at OU where she is working diligently to make sure that every student’s voice is heard, seen, and valued. As an OKGIT student ambassador, Emelie hopes to contribute to all international students’ opportunities and well-being in our state.
